Difficult Experience in Writing

I am Nabillah Rahmah, a student at Wiralodra University and as a beginner writer, I have several problems when writing, whether it's writing letters or writing personal experiences about any matter.

Even though professional writers have described it clearly, as a result, novice writers still encounter many obstacles and difficulties in expressing ideas. Obstacles or difficulties that exist are certainly not without causes. But of course these obstacles can be overcome by finding a way to avoid obstacles regarding the writing. Based on patience and persistence, novice writers will not back down before producing a work.

Obstacles that are often encountered are laziness to express ideas and lazy to think. Looking for references by reading books, both print and electronic or surfing in cyberspace is a annoying job for most people. However, reading habits need to be cultivated. Especially for those who want to become writers

Then the second obstacle is that as a novice writer, it is required to be creative in finding discussion ideas. Ideas can be obtained anytime and anywhere. However, due to a lack of practice it is difficult for even ideas to emerge in the brain. This also happened because I was not used to writing, when I had mature ideas but I was confused and didn't know where to start.

Third, the inability to develop problems. even though writing ideas have accumulated in the mind as a result there is a bottleneck in writing. When I have a problem in my brain, I find it very difficult to develop it and make it a writing material. Often the idea is just stuck in the mind and then it is difficult to put it into writing. This is a little tricky for me.

Fourth, the difficulty in composing sentences causes the resulting article to be unattractive to read. Somehow what I experience mostly is about writing ideas, I think I am not creative enough to find interesting ideas so that I can compose certain sentences. Difficulty putting it into words and putting it together in a sentence.

Fifth, fear of being wrong. The fear of being wrong that I feel is out of fear of being criticized. In fact, by encountering errors and a lot of criticism will support success in writing. It's just that the fear of being wrong is still eating away at my mind.

Sixth, fear of failure. In this case, I still cannot instill what the proverb says, "There is only one success - to spend your life in your own way." Until now, I lack confidence in the results of my writing.

Writing is pouring ideas, thoughts and ideas into a writing. Many people actually have ideas and a desire to write, but it is difficult when they want to put them into writing. In fact, if we realize it, all of these obstacles can be overcome only with patience, persistence and high loyalty. In addition, it can also use various media to help overcome these problems as a reference.

In Indonesia, there are no signs of an end to the Covid-19 pandemic even though it has been running for almost 2 years starting from March 2020.

The community's non-compliance with health protocols mostly occurs due to their lack of understanding of the dangers of disease, the benefits of treatment, and the magnitude of the barriers to Covid-19 in access to health.

Lack of public understanding of how susceptible they are to contracting COVID-19, how severe the disease is, what are the benefits of taking precautions, and lack of instructions for action.

Social psychologists have developed various models to explain and predict health-related behaviors, especially in using health facilities.

The community also faces various obstacles to accessing health facilities. For example, people find it difficult to test for Covid-19 because the cost is quite expensive.

Then the level of public compliance with health protocols such as wearing masks, maintaining distance, and washing hands is still not satisfactory.

Efforts to build public awareness must be increased in various ways by carrying out more effective communication through various media and methods that are suitable for age, educational, and cultural diversity.

In the last few months, various popular articles and various figures in the community have also conveyed that the handling of Covid-19 such as Large-Scale Social Restrictions (LSSR) in Indonesia is very much determined by the compliance of the community with established health protocols.

The high number of violations that occur massively in the community is not only in one place, this is a social problem in Indonesia in the context of handling Covid-19, but what is more worrying is the “indifference” of the public to health protocols.

The Covid-19 disaster has greatly affected the overall education process, from primary to tertiary education. As a result, around 68.8 million students study at home and 4.2 million teachers and lecturers teach from home.

Many of the effects that occur from this incident, for example, the parents of students who are forced to become teachers for their children at home. This compulsion can cause stress to parents. Not only parents, children at home also experience the same stress when taught by parents who are not used to it.

To prevent and avoid the spread of the Covid-19 virus which is currently spreading in several countries, including Indonesia. Work from home (WFH) and Learn From Home (LFH), not gathering and keeping a distance are considered the best ways to break the chain of spreading this virus.

Then through online learning students can study as usual and will not miss the lecture material, as well as more flexible time. However, online learning is not fully welcomed by students, because there are some students who consider online learning more difficult than ordinary learning, not to mention that internet quota must be available and this is the biggest difficulty experienced by students, constraints on the network, the availability of learning tools.

While studying Writing in a Professional Context, I learned a lot about writing difficulties when dealing with writing problems.

The disobedience of residents is the cause of the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The government also took part in handling this problem.

Facing this difficult situation various efforts have been made by the government, from campaigning for wearing masks to patrolling officers. It was all done as passionately as what has been done.

It's just that the government, with all its efforts, is still not optimal in building public awareness of the dangers of the plague and easy access to health.

In the event of a pandemic, the government still uses complicated terms and is only easy for the educated people who come from the middle class.

The government has even issued different statements, even though an emergency requires comprehensive and consistent communication. Then the government's reluctance to implement Large-Scale Social Restrictions (LSSR) seriously.

A very confusing incident of an inconsistent policy is when Eid Al-Fitr 2020 in the middle of Covid-19 arrives. There is a statement that confuses the public of the term that distinguishes between "mudik" and "pulang kampung". Even though the two of terms have the same meaning, namely "homecoming"

Then, the middle to lower class people are still having difficulty getting a COVID-19 test and the middle to lower class people are becoming more vulnerable to this problem.

The government only provides free hospital tests for those who had contact with positive cases or visited risky areas and show clinical symptoms of COVID-19. Though some cases proved to be without common symptoms.

Meanwhile, people who are able to do the test independently at the hospital are quite expensive.
